Join us for a fun evening filled with mud puddles and grimy games for kids ages 1-100. Young adventure racers (and their parents, grandparents & friends) to try their skills at a mini-mud run – complete with obstacles, and of course – LOTS of mud!  There will also be mud painting, mud pies, muddy worms and more!  All proceeds from the Mad Mountain Family Mud Fun event will benefit Hands On! Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 5-7 pm. $15 per person 2 years and up. Cost includes a Chick-fil-A meal and access to all the good, MUDDY family fun! Call Hands On! to sign-up!

Hands On! is thrilled to participate in Nano Days! We are one of 200 institutions in the United States that will be celebrating Nano Days at the end of March. Our celebration will kickoff on Friday March 23rd with hands on science demonstrations in the museum 10 am-12 noon & 2-4 pm. Nano Theatre performed by East Hendersonville High School theatre class will occur on our stage at 1 pm & 4 pm. More activities to follow up to March 30th. Come join the nano fun!  The event is sponsored by Asheville Regional Airport & made possible by grants from NISE NET & the National Science Foundation.
