Long before the stroke of midnight, some children in Hendersonville got to experience the excitement of ringing in the new year.

Hands On!, the children’s museum downtown, has been holding the New Years at Noon celebration for several years.

It’s a chance for kids of all ages to come by and craft fun things, to share new year’s excitement way before bedtime.

The kids said making the hats and noise-makers was just as great as the party.

“I liked blowing the harmonica, that was really fun,” said Addie, age 8.
